This expenditure would, I think, be justified in the interests of the considerable Indian population and the improvement in educational facilities would be much appreciated

by its members.

If you approve of facceptance of Mr.Kadoorie's offer and of the consequential recommendations made, I shall be obliged to learn your decision by telegraph in order that pro- vision may be made in the Estimates for 1915 for the increased expenditure on the completion of the buildings.
